Easy and super healthy basic Quinoa recipe by Kids Naturally!
It's great to have handy and keep in the fridge
for use in many recipes... and it will only take
15 minutes to make.
proportion: 1 cup of quinoa, per 2 cups of water
Rinse quinoa in a fine strainer to remove any impurities
Place quinoa and water in a small pot and bring to a boil
Once it begins to boil, reduce temperature to medium-low and continue to simmer uncovered for 10-12 minutes
Remove from heat and cover

Quinoa can be eaten as a side dish with most meals, replacing rice or potatoes for a gluten-free alternative. It can also be used to make breakfast cereals, and our favourite: Quinoa burgers.
